Alida is currently pursuing a degree in secondary education with a specialization in English and Politics and Society. Her academic interests lie in civic education, democratic values and the role of pedagogy in addressing historical and social complexities. She is particularly committed to exploring how schools can foster critical reflection, social responsibility, and intercultural understanding among students. Alida’s motivation is further informed by her Bosnian family background, which has given her a personal awareness of the lasting impact of conflict and the significance of remembrance and dialogue. She aspires to integrate these perspectives and the first-hand experience into her future teaching practice.
