Ellise has recently completed her LLM Masters degree in Human Rights Law at the University of Bristol, whilst also holding a bachelor’s degree in Politics and International Relations gained from the University of Northampton. At the University of Bristol, Ellise was a research assistant for the Human Rights Implementation Centre where an interest in human rights violations and armed conflicts was highlighted further to the perseverance of her degrees. Further to this, Ellise’s interest in post-conflict research and women’s rights was highlighted in her LLM dissertation where a focus on the genocide during the Yugoslavian war led her to pursue this career avenue further in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ellise wishes to pursue a career in women’s rights, specifically during and after conflicts, across the globe after her time in Sarajevo.
