Molly Munro is a graduate student pursuing an MA in International Humanitarian Action with the Network on Humanitarian Action (NOHA) at the University of Groningen. She spent one semester at the University of Warsaw specializing in international humanitarian law and conflicts in Eastern Europe and a semester at the German Jordanian University in Amman. There, she specialized in social work with refugees while doing an internship with the Syrian American Medical Society. She holds a BA in Religion, Culture, and Society from the University of Victoria, Canada, where she focused on the role of religion in politics in Eastern Europe. Her first visit to the Balkans in 2018 sparked her interest in post-conflict settings and the role of religion in society. Her MA thesis will be focused on the topic of peace and identity in post-conflict settings.
