Philip is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Southeast European Studies at the University of Graz. His thesis focuses on civil society’s approaches to peacebuilding in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and on initiatives aimed at reconciliation in the digital space in particular. Philip has previously completed a bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. During his master‛s, he spent one semester at the University of Zagreb. His main interests include post-conflict reconciliation, history education, the politics of memory, and minority rights. Furthermore, he is passionate about strengthening civil society and civic consciousness in Bosnia and Herzegovina. As the Spokesperson of the Germany-based Young Southeast Europe Association, Philip is dedicated to fostering exchange and building networks among young people who share an interest in the Balkans.
