Laura Feehs is a graduate student at the University of Denver (DU), pursuing an MA in International Disaster Psychology. She holds a BA in International Studies from DU with a concentration in International Organizations, Security, and Human Rights. Her interest in post-conflict settings and transitional justice brought Bosnia and Herzegovina into focus during her undergraduate studies. Since then, Laura has researched the role of psychosocial interventions in addressing intergenerational trauma, fostering collective healing, and bolstering peacebuilding efforts.
Reflections on the Marš Mira
On the morning of 7 July, Srebrenica felt like a ghost town. I departed Sarajevo earlier that morning with a group of fellow graduate students from the University of Denver. We were preparing to participate in the Marš Mira, the annual peace march that commemorates the Srebrenica genocide.
