Muamer Zukanović completed his undergraduate studies in communication studies at the Faculty of Humanities of the University “Džemal Bijedić” and earned the title of Bachelor of Communication Studies/public relations major. He worked as a correspondent for Dnevni avaz, screenwriter and moderator of numerous cultural and sports events, and as a PR manager. He won various awards for his work.
An Association Fighting for the Rights of Children with Disabilities
A group of citizens dissatisfied with the rights that their children receive in the area of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNK) founded the association Roditelji djece sa invaliditetom (“Parenting Children with Disabilities”) with the hope of increasing awareness among competent institutions of the issues children with disabilities face.

Together in the Race for Peace in Mostar’s Rujište
Under the symbolic name “Trčim za mir” [I run for peace], a trail race will be held on October 1st in Mostar on three tracks, five, ten and 21 kilometers long.  Its aim is to contribute to peace, spreading the message that it is possible to build peace with everyone in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
