Young women and successful athletes - Milena Nikolić, Lana Pudar, the Sipović sisters – Ajla, Nejra, and Emina - are the best and greatest ambassadors of our country, proudly standing shoulder to shoulder with sports giants, breaking their own and others' records, and proudly inscribing themselves in Bosnian-Herzegovinian and world history.
After 12 years, horse races returned to the Butmir Hippodrome, thanks to the initiative of passionate young equestrian enthusiasts. This event rekindled hope that the sport might once again become a major attraction in Sarajevo as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina, continuing a 130-year-old tradition.

Azra Dedić was born in Bihać, the second child in the family. When she was born during the war years, her mom gave birth to a baby with Down syndrome--to whom she gave all her love and attention. Now twenty-four years old, she’s known to the public as a European Judo Champion, and is so much more. She’s the golden girl from Una, as many call her dearly.
Much of the fighting that took place during the Bosnian war of the 1990s occurred in the country’s mountains, hills, and countryside. Once littered with landmines that led to the destruction and decay of the hiking trails and mountain huts that served to connect the country and its people, Bosnia and Herzegovina is now re-establishing itself as a hub for outdoor and adventure tourism as it invites people to return to its mountains to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Dinaric region.
