Julien is a current graduate student at the University of Groningen, pursuing a Master’s degree in International Relations and International Organizations. Prior to his ongoing academic endeavor, he successfully earned his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Strasbourg, specializing in Applied Foreign Languages with a concentration in Russian. His academic journey has been shaped by his interest in the connections between identity and foreign policy, particularly the impact of linguistic, cultural, and religious factors.

“Djeca Sarajeva”: The Legacy of Killing Childhood

It is hard to understand the killing of a child. The deliberate and ruthless targeting of children during the Siege of Sarajevo tragically illustrates the contrast between childhood innocence and war’s brutality. To commemorate the start of the occupation of Sarajevo, the documentary, "Djeca Sarajeva”, was screened for the first time on the 4th of April at the Sarajevo City Hall.
