The Post-Conflict Research Center (PCRC) and Balkan Diskurs invite young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina to participate in the third edition of Peace Festival in Vitez from February 22 to 26, 2024.
Mirza Mujagić is a 26-year-old actor from Lukavac who didn’t embark on the path to the stage in a typical manner. However, his impressive repertoire and accomplishments in recent years at the Tuzla Youth Theater and Tuzla National Theater, in productions such as “Path,” “Comrade, You Are My Wife,” “The Last Love of Hasan Kaimija,” and many others, demonstrate that fate dealt him a very fortunate hand.
Dijana Muminović, a Master of Visual Communications, is an award-winning Bosnian-American photographer who, through documentary photography, tells stories about immigrants, human rights, and the consequences of the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Džemil Hodžić was just a child when his brother Amel was tragically killed by a sniper during the siege of Sarajevo. Driven by a desire to find photos of his brother, he established the Sniper Alley platform in 2019, with the aim of collecting photographs, particularly those of children who lived through the Sarajevo siege. However, the Sniper Alley project is more than a mere collection of photographs, it is a testimony to survivor resilience.
Fedja Zahirovich, a talented Bosnian-Herzegovinian performer, has been involved in acting since his early childhood and pursuing this passion professionally for a decade. He completed his studies in screen acting at the Bow Street Academy - the National Screen Acting School of Ireland, where he had the opportunity to learn from distinguished Hollywood professionals such as Gerry Grennell as well as Oscar and Golden Globe nominated directors and writers. In addition to acting, Fedja’s interests include writing poetry and screenplays and studying psychology, which has fascinated him for years.
