Devon is currently completing his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Illinois State University with minors in Philosophy and Peace & Conflict Resolution. He was previously a Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Student in Germany during the peaks of the Syrian Refugee Crisis which sparked his interest in human rights and global issues. He became curious about Bosnia & Herzegovina while researching peacekeeping efforts in the ethnically divided society of Cyprus at the University of Nicosia. In fall 2022, he will begin his graduate studies pursuing an MA in International Affairs at Boston University with a specialization in International Security.
