Balkan Diskurs Arts and Culture Correspondent, Struan Kennedy, holds an MA in the History of Art from the University of Glasgow and an MRes in Creative Practices from the Glasgow School of Art. Upon completing his postgraduate, Struan with International Conflict Research Institute (INCORE) in Northern Ireland on the transformative potential of ‘peace tourism’ in selected ‘urban villages’ of Belfast and Derry-Londonderry. He also carried out consultancy work related to local policing reform and gaining community trust in socially difficult areas, including those at the interface.
