The Futility of the War in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Two ordinary families of different ethnicities from villages near Kiseljak and Visoko were connected during the war—not only by the struggle for survival, great uncertainty, and waiting, but also by a togetherness, and humanity that overcame the futility of the war. 

Can Bugojno Overcome War-time Divisions?
In Bugojno, a town in central Bosnia, war-time divisions remain strong even twenty-five years after the war. Although it is not an administratively divided city, Bosniaks and Croats live almost completely separate lives. Schools are divided, but also catering facilities. Everyone knows exactly who can come in and who cannot.

District Team Moves Boundaries
It all started three years ago in Sarajevo, when a group of young activists got the opportunity to make a documentary. That's when the name of the activist movement “District Team” was created. Although they are still an informal group, wanting to become a formal association, young activists from Brčko are finding opportunities. And their activities are numerous.

The ”Nafaka” of the Sarajevo Haggadah
For more than a hundred years of turbulent history, Sarajevo and its inhabitants have kept the Sarajevo Haggadah, a written collection of Jewish regulations and traditions, from wars, arson, and theft. Its home is the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which the Haggadah has had to leave several times in order to be preserved.

Big-hearted People in the “Good Will” Restaurant
Poverty knows no borders. People with a big heart in the restaurant "Dobre Volje" (“Good Will”) in Travnik preserve the dignity of those who struggle and for whom just one meal means a lot. In 2019, the humanitarian organization Pomozi.ba opened a restaurant in that city, the first of its kind in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Tuzla Volunteers are the Only Hope for Migrants
“I approach each and every man as a human being. At no point do I care if he is from Pakistan, Morocco, Algeria. I see a human being in need in front of me, and I act in accordance to that.
