Nedžada is Balkan Diskurs trained corespondant. She holds a master’s degree in Political Science and Near and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Basel. During her studies she focused on history and political dynamics in Turkey, Northeast Syria, and the Balkans. As a student, she had the opportunity to work for an NGO, which led her to realise the importance of youth for sustainable developments. After graduation, she worked as an academic intern and country responsible at the Consular Directorate of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs in Switzerland, where she was involved working on foreign terrorist fighter’s cases. Her main interest are human rights, equality, migration, post-conflict settings and the work of local peace actors, which prompted her to come to the PCRC in Sarajevo
