The second State of Peace Youth Academy has concluded, bringing together 50 young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, and Montenegro. Organised by the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina in collaboration with the Post-Conflict Research Center, the conference actively engaged Western Balkans youth in the process of reconciliation for a second year in a row.

Together, non-governmental organisations, businesses, and cultural institutions from across Bosnia and Herzegovina have received approximately four million euros from the Creative Europe Fund over the past six years. This fund is a great opportunity for local cultural workers to meet and collaborate with their colleagues from all over Europe, improve their work, and produce high-quality international programs.
A state of peace is not only the absence of war but a full understanding and tolerance of others as well as the realization of human rights without discrimination. This is one of the messages from the meeting of representatives of the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina (EU BiH) and participants of the State of Peace Youth Academy, which was held at the headquarters of the Delegation of the EU BiH in Sarajevo.
On March 1, 2021, the 11th meeting of the Stabilisation and Association Council between the EU and Albania took place. This was the first SA Council meeting since their decision to open accession negotiations for Albania in March 2020. While North Macedonia, Albania, Serbia and Montenegro are in the process of integrating EU legislation into national law, Bosnia Herzegovina and Kosovo still lag behind as potential candidates.
