High salaries, job flexibility, and continuous learning are some of the advantages of working in the information technology (IT) sector. This field is of growing interest to young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and is helping to reduce the disparity between high unemployment rates and the present needs of IT companies.
Peace Festival ‘23 ended with a musical performance by DJ Kontra, reinforcing the message of this year’s Festival participants’ commitment to building sustainable peace and coexistence in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
More than 40 young people from 20 cities of Bosnia and Herzegovina attended the opening of the second edition of the Peace Festival in the Čardaci Ethno Village in Vitez, organized by the Post-Conflict Research Center (PCRC).
Instead of leaving Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), several young people together with their professors started developing and making innovative technologies, starting their own businesses. They created the SSST (Sarajevo School Science and Technology) Innovation Lab for the development of ideas, located in the premises SSST of the University of Sarajevo.
