— Elisa Baldo —
Elisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Comparative European and International Legal Studies from the University of Trento and is currently pursuing a joint Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies between the University of Kent and Philipps-Universität Marburg. Her research focuses on transitional justice, genocide studies, and collective memory in post-conflict societies, with particular expertise in the Western Balkans. Adopting a gender-sensitive approach, she examines how reconciliation processes, remembrance practices, and the work of international institutions shape sustainable peace in the aftermath of mass atrocity.
