Lamija holds a Master of Arts degree in International Affairs, a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies, and a minor in Political Science from the University of North Florida. As a daughter of parents who survived the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lamija has always had a deep passion for human rights, conflict prevention, justice, and international relations overall. Understanding the importance of achieving post-war peace and progress, Lamija has conducted significant research on reforming the Dayton Accords. She has worked on developing policy recommendations for achieving democratic progress in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the Western Balkans altogether. She aspires to develop a career in public service and foreign policy so she may contribute to establishing peace across the globe.
