Media Literacy of Youth and Resistance to Media Manipulation

The Post-Conflict Research Center is proud to present this video that aims to raise awareness about the lack of media integrity and transparency in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This video was developed during the youth workshop “Media Literacy and Resisting Manipulation”, which was attended by 15 young people from across the country. Balkan Diskurs activities are supported by the Center for Independent Journalism Budapest (CIJ) under the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) and Rising Voices.

Around 1,500 people marched through the streets of Sarajevo on the 25th of June under the slogan “Family Gathering” in the third-ever pride march in Bosnia and Herzegovina to protest discrimination and injustice against the LGBTI community.

Smoking Ban in the Federation of BiH: Protection or Nonsense?

The smoking ban in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), which has been in effect since June 2025, has reduced in-door smoking and protected people from second-hand smoke in cafes and clubs, and especially restaurants where food is served.
