Media Literacy of Youth and Resistance to Media Manipulation

The Post-Conflict Research Center is proud to present this video that aims to raise awareness about the lack of media integrity and transparency in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This video was developed during the youth workshop “Media Literacy and Resisting Manipulation”, which was attended by 15 young people from across the country. Balkan Diskurs activities are supported by the Center for Independent Journalism Budapest (CIJ) under the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) and Rising Voices.

Drawing Closer, an Ocean Apart: Nour Hassan’s Portraits of the Mothers of Srebrenica

Thirty years after the Srebrenica genocide, the exhibition ‘Majke/Mothers,’ created by Nour Hassan and dedicated to the Mothers of Srebrenica, will open on July 7 at the Sarajevo City Hall. With this work, the artist from New Zealand aimed to capture a variety of emotions, preserve memory, and honour the Mothers of Srebrenica by sharing their authentic stories.

Remembering the Srebrenica Genocide in Tuzla

In the Bosnian Cultural Center in Tuzla, the exhibition “Genocide in Srebrenica Through Legal Judgements” was opened as part of Srebrenica Genocide Remembrance Day. The exhibition is a part of the joint research project of the Srebrenica Memorial Center and the Post-Conflict Research Center.
