Media Literacy of Youth and Resistance to Media Manipulation

The Post-Conflict Research Center is proud to present this video that aims to raise awareness about the lack of media integrity and transparency in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This video was developed during the youth workshop “Media Literacy and Resisting Manipulation”, which was attended by 15 young people from across the country. Balkan Diskurs activities are supported by the Center for Independent Journalism Budapest (CIJ) under the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) and Rising Voices.

Roma are the largest minority group in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and are commonly exposed to prejudice, discrimination, and exclusion. Almir Agić, a 22-year-old Roma man from Ilijaš, near Sarajevo, fights prejudice with poetry and art, giving a voice to those who are invisible in society.
