Media Literacy of Youth and Resistance to Media Manipulation

The Post-Conflict Research Center is proud to present this video that aims to raise awareness about the lack of media integrity and transparency in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This video was developed during the youth workshop “Media Literacy and Resisting Manipulation”, which was attended by 15 young people from across the country. Balkan Diskurs activities are supported by the Center for Independent Journalism Budapest (CIJ) under the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) and Rising Voices.

Love for Nature Portrayed through Art

Retired life doesn't have to be dull and unproductive, and Zaim Isić, a former teacher, is living proof. In retirement, he has channeled his love for the outdoors into crafting useful tools, including wooden knives with durable aluminum blades, sheaths, and grinders for things like apples and corn, and more. Visitors often describe his handmade products as works of art.

The Mali Svijet Center: Helping Children for a Brighter Future

Using modern approaches and therapeutic techniques, the Citizens’ Association Center for Early Intervention for Children with Developmental Disabilities, Mali Svijet [Small World], has been trying for more than 12 years to enable children aged 18 months to six years to more easily overcome the everyday obstacles and difficulties they face. Their assistance helps children reach their full potential at a young age to ensure a brighter future.
