Media Literacy of Youth and Resistance to Media Manipulation

The Post-Conflict Research Center is proud to present this video that aims to raise awareness about the lack of media integrity and transparency in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This video was developed during the youth workshop “Media Literacy and Resisting Manipulation”, which was attended by 15 young people from across the country. Balkan Diskurs activities are supported by the Center for Independent Journalism Budapest (CIJ) under the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) and Rising Voices.

Training and Mentorship for Balkan Diskurs Youth Correspondents

Fifteen young journalists and activists attended training on the basics of journalism, photography, and storytelling. They were officially certified as youth correspondents on the tenth anniversary of the establishment of the Balkan Diskurs multimedia platform. With mentorship, they will have the opportunity to publish articles on socially significant topics that interest them through the Balkan Diskurs platform.

Women with Disabilities Forum: From a Whisper to a Shout

The Tuzla Canton Women with Disabilities Forum was established within the framework of the “Here I am - Visible and Proud” project. Working with women with disabilities, it aims to bolster their self-confidence, familiarize them with the experiences of victims of violence, and advocate for their reproductive health, right to education, and similar issues. Some of these initiatives are carried out through performances, such as “Silences,” which was based on the personal stories of women with disabilities.
