Media Literacy of Youth and Resistance to Media Manipulation

The Post-Conflict Research Center is proud to present this video that aims to raise awareness about the lack of media integrity and transparency in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This video was developed during the youth workshop “Media Literacy and Resisting Manipulation”, which was attended by 15 young people from across the country. Balkan Diskurs activities are supported by the Center for Independent Journalism Budapest (CIJ) under the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) and Rising Voices.

‘State of Peace’ Youth Academy gathers 50 young people from the region

At the first 'State of Peace' Youth Academy, organized by the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with the Post-Conflict Research Center, 50 young people from the Western Balkans will learn about peace and democracy through cultural and artistic events, as well as educational workshops. Scheduled to take place from August 18 – 31, the program will encompass activities in Tuzla, Brčko, Sarajevo, and Vitez.

Enis Čišić: From Bosnia to Marvel

Enis Čišić is obsessed with his job. He is a freelance visual artist from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) whose first encounter with a pencil – inspired by pictures from encyclopedias, picture books and a favorite television program – began in the 1980s.
