Nur Aksamija is a graduate from New York University Shanghai, with a focus in Political Science. Her primary research focuses include domestic and international conflict, peace processes, international politics and law. She has worked with organizations such as USAID, Transparency International, Peace Network, Interpeace, and is currently co-leading the Policy Team at Youth Transforming Narratives. During her time at NYU, she founded the first undergraduate publication on international policy and law, as well as holding leadership positions at both the Law and Policy Society and Model UN, serving as a Crisis Director while in New York. Last year, she was named a Millennium Fellow by United Nations Academic Impact as well as having her work published with IE University’s International Policy Review. Aside from NYU, she has spent a summer studying at the Geneva Graduate Institute, and will be off to London after her time at the PCRC for an MSc in Conflict Studies and Comparative Politics at LSE.
